Zmajevac is a hill on the east side of Sarajevo, only half an hour up hill. Driving through Sarajevo you will hear a short story of the siege of Sarajevo, beginning with the massacres on the marketplace Markale. Also you will see the Memorial for children killed during the siege and you will hear about the first child that was killed during the war and the first victims of the war, Suada and Olga. You can expect to see the beautiful Austro-Hungarian structure, spectacular buildings such as the Academy of Arts, the City Hall and many others. Small military barracks are located in the woods nearby and if you want you can walk to visit it.
Along the way the professional guide will be with you and you can ask him questions about Sarajevo that you are interested and he will be happy to answer.
